Here's another greatest hits cd that is perfect for a rainy sunday afternoon. The Psychedelic Furs combine echoing guitar riffs and melodic vocals to create rooms of gorgeous sounds.

You're bound to know most of the songs on here including Pretty In Pink, Love My Way, The Ghost in You, and Heartbreak Beat.

Hard to believe Pretty in Pink came out in 1981. Ahead of their times!

When in Rome, do as the Romans do and listen to The Promise. Yea, it's an old cd, but you gotta love those 80s reminiscent bass lines, soft soulful beats, and lovely rhythms.

Such classic sounds these guys make on their self-titled cd. Heaven Knows as well as The Promise are my favorite tracks on the cd. It definitely takes you back to inspiring and enjoyable 80s love.

David Byrne is the man!

He knows how to write and perform such invigorating and electrifying music. From watching their live DVD to listening to the best of CD, you begin to realize that you already know most of the songs. You've heard them before on the radio or just around town somewhere.

'Once in a Lifetime', 'Burning Down the House,' as well as 'And She Was' are their most defining songs that you've heard everywhere. But once you get down into it, you begin to love all of them. One of my favorites is 'Slippery People,' a lovely diddy that sounds like a church choir alternating verses with Byrne.

'Life During Wartime' has that marching feel throughout. Byrne even runs throughout the song on the DVD. He's intense!

This CD is one of those keepers that you will always have around. I have so much respect for Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith and the music they have made. They must reach deep into their hearts to write, produce, and sing some of this beautiful music.

You have those classics that everyone knows such as Shout, Everybody Wants to Rule The World, and Head Over Heels. Everytime I listen to those last two songs they invoke such nostalgic and emotion-packed feelings.

One of my favorites is Woman In Chains, an enchanting and warm melody that envelops you in an auditory shower of peace and calmness.

I highly recommend for all your 80s needs. I'm talking to you. So come on!

Wow, this guy was born to write pop songs. Each one of the tracks on this cd is so exquisitely constructed that you wonder how he does it.

His songs have been slipped into the minds of the masses without anyone knowing. You don't realize that you already know many of these songs. Just take a listen to see. You might recognize 'What is Love?' and 'Everlasting Love,'

Howard Jones is definitely a pop star. Just listen to those 80's keyboards and synths. Good stuff!!

The Best of Simple Minds

Gotta love these guys! I can't get enough of their music. Driving down the road, rockin out to Don't you (forget about me) is about as good as it gets.

Just about every track is memorable and elevates your mood to where you just look around and smile. Even the instrumental 'Theme for Great Cities' will stick in your head for days. Simple Minds!

More 80's goodness for you in this cd of non-stop hits. The first time I listened to it I didn't realize that I knew almost all of these songs made by Human League. From their most famous song, Don't you want me, to Human, and Mirror man, you won't stop singing them. I'm only human, born to make mistakes too!
